I really can’t pin-point the moment when my love of travel began – whether it was family trips as a kid to Disneyland, or maybe the fact that my parents are travelers at heart, but whenever it started, life rolls from one amazing occurrence to the next. This blog may simply be a realization of one of my favourite little cliches, “I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on my list.”
WHERE I’VE BEEN (blue countries)
ABOUT ME
I grew up in a small town in New Zealand. Since the age of 12, I have travelled to 47 countries, and have also lived in the United Kingdom and the United States. With the mantra that there is no better way to spend your life than learning and experiencing the cultures and countries of the world, I have put together this blog, culminating my many years of being unable to stay in one place too long and genuine pull of seeing all that the world has to offer. This is all in the hopes of spurring on anyone out there who has always wanted to see more, but maybe just couldn’t take that final step. Now, you can watch as I make my way through the preparation process, bookings, budgets, ups, downs, absolute nightmares and unbelievable joys of travelling the world.
“The use of traveling is to regulate imagination by reality, and instead of thinking how things may be, to see them as they are.” – Samuel Johnson
